What are your capabilities?

In addition to dry and wet cleaning clothing & table linens, we repair & store furs; restore & remediate smoke- & soot-damaged drapery, bedding, rugs, clothing & furniture; and clean & repair all leathers & suedes.

With the ability to clean table linens requiring high-volume processing, as well as delicate pieces that have beading, ornaments or embroidery requiring low-volume or hand processing, we have a proven track record of removing of mold, mildew and stains from the “whitest of whites” and colored pieces. We use any of four different cleaning methods to preserve the original colors and return your pieces so they’re in a condition to be re-used.

Our breadth and depth of experience repairing, cleaning, glazing and rolling furs gives them an appearance that your customers will appreciate. With a large volume of skins in-stock, we’re able to modernize older or outdated pieces easily. During the warm-weather months, we’re able to store your customers’ furs in a secured air-conditioned vault that we keep at a constant temperature of 58°.

Using state-of-the-art technology gives us a high success rate in removing smoke & soot from fire-damaged drapery, bedding, rugs, clothing, furniture, footwear and accessory wear, which makes us the – “remediation source that insurance companies and retail dry cleaners alike have come to trust.“

With the ability to clean and dye leather and suede pieces, add new paneling to damaged skins, hand-clean delicate pieces and perform repairs ranging from basic to extensive, we can restore coats and purses, and other leather and suede goods to excellent condition.

In what kind of box is a preserved wedding gown delivered?

Depending upon your customer’s preference, a preserved wedding gown may be packaged in a proprietary, acid-free corrugated box that we inject with nitrogen to prevent oxidation. We also enclose a DESI PAK® to extract moisture. Our packing also features a transparent side to show the front of the gown.

Can you always locate an item garment when it’s in your facility?

Yes. From the moment a garment or specialty item enters our facility, we assign an inventory number to the piece and tag it, so we know where it is until it leaves on the delivery truck and is delivered back to you.

What kind of turnaround time can I expect?

The Joesph Krow Company’s average turnaround time on dry cleaning for customers in western Pennsylvania is 48 hours.

Average turnaround for specialty cleaning is 7 days; wedding gown cleaning or preservation turnaround takes 3 weeks and garment and leather good repairs generally take 2 to 4 weeks.

What is your billing policy?

Payment terms are Net 30 Days. We mail you a monthly statement and include detailed packing slips with every order to make it easy for you to cross-check your statement with each order you receive.

Yes. We accept MasterCard, VISA American Express and Discover. We’re set up to take credit card payments by phone, or we can keep your account number on file and charge you on a designated date of each month.
